Buff weka used to roam the Otago and Canterbury high country but sadly, thanks to introduced predators, thats no longer the case. Now the islands of Lake Wnaka provide them with a refuge. Meet the Locals is a partnership between DOC and TVNZ 6 and is distributed by Bush Telly with permission.
