Kaki

The kak is one of the worlds rarest wading birds. In the 1980s, their numbers plummeted to 23 adult birds. However, the captive management programme at Twizel is making a real difference to their survival. Meet the Locals is a partnership between DOC and TVNZ 6 and is distributed by Bush Telly with permission.
